From the Pilgrims enduring to Plymouth Rock back in 1620, through multiple years of gruesome trials, many losing family and children, to WWI &II, and most recently 911, we as Americans, will rise up from these ashes. I want to encourage all our readers to press on and don’t give up.

Some key updates I wanted to address in this issue are around the misinformation that is out there concerning who is eligible for the SBA PPP loan/grant, and how to apply for it through your existing bank
Many employers right now, have been led to believe they are not eligible for the SBA PPP loan/grant because they don’t have employees. That is incorrect, sole proprietors, independent contractors, and officers of a corporation who are W2 employees, are eligible for the PPP loan/grant.

Last Thursday we put out our first agency COVID-19 report, notifying clients, partners, friends and family of key news and updates pertinent to their business and person. Only a week has gone by now and there have been so many changes, and developments. We are seeking to provide you with additional critical up to date information and news. Last night the US senate passed the CORONAVIRUS STIMULUS spending bill releasing funding to small business owners and others alike. It has been reported, those funds could start to go out as early as next week. It is also being reported that small businesses who receive loans, and retain their employees, will receive debt forgiveness on their loans.

US DEPT OF LABOR NEW GUIDELINES FOR EMPLOYERS!
A New Mandatory Workplace Poster has been released by the federal government regarding Coronavirus. Each employer must post a notice of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requirements in a conspicuous place on its premises.
